Priyadharshan watches his protégé’s film

Acclaimed director Priyadharshan watched the special screening of his protégé’s maiden directorial venture Kireedom at Four Frames Theatre in Chennai last week.

Starring Ajith and Trisha in the lead roles, Kireedom is directed by A L Vijay, an associate of Priyadharshan.

The screening was made exclusively for Priyadharshan by Vijay. The mentor was highly impressed by Vijay's worked behind the screen in the movie. The movie is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster titled the same starring Mohanlal.

Priyadharshan also heaped laurels on Ajith for his excellent performance in the movie. Raj Kiran, Saranya, Santhanam, Vivek are also in the cast. Music is by G V Prakash Kumar.

Kireedom will hit the screens on 20 July.
